Message So, I'm kinda a noob when it comes to actually assembling a motor internally. I have been anciously waiting to take a motor apart so I can reassemble one fully. Sounds weird but I work on zs everyday and have no issues 5spd swapping or motor swapping, tt swaps ect. Now I'm looking to learn the correct ways to assemble a motor. NOT doing head gaskets. I mean rod bearing, main bearings ect. Learning the correct tools to use to make sure job is done correctly.

I don't mind learning on a z motor. If that means pulling whole car apart several times until I know what I'm doing and am comftable to do it on someone elses car that's fine. Doesn't take more than a day to pull apart and put a z together again. Just looking to learn. I have plenty of na motors to practice on and several zs I can install them into to try.

Any advice or walk throughs or manual ect? Like I said doing motor internals is a new journey for me. I like learning first hand but not sure where to look for correct places to read on. Thanks.
